A Profile

The Kallamkunnu Service Co-operative Bank was established in the year 1971 in Velookkara Village, Mukundapuram Taluk of Thrissur district. The aim was to uplift the living condition of the poor people in the area by promoting small savings by starting a bank account and also by giving trouble free loans to small and needy people in the area.
The Bank has expanded at a rapid rate and has reached its limit of banking operation and this made the bank venture into new non banking activities.

The Bank is now:

1. having more than 11000 members

2. fully computerised

3. branch at Kolothumpady

4.deposit 20 cr

5. loan outstanding 9 cr
