NON BANKING ACTIVITIES Neethi Medical Store The Bank to give emphasis to better health care, sponsors various health programmes . In this context along with Government of Kerala, the Bank has opened two medical stores one at the taluk headquarter hospital at Irinjalakuda which runs round the clock and one more near private bus station, Irinjalakuda. Staff strength of 14 Fertilizer Depot The Bank also has a fertilizer depot in the bank premises to distribute various fertilizers of IFFCO to the farmers at reasonable rates thereby helping the farmers in this area. Gramasree Consumer Store The Bank has opened a consumer store at Nadavarambu to supply provisionals at a moderate rate. Annual sales turnover 25 lakhs. Copra Drier of 5000 nuts capacity The Bank under the Kerala Government Scheme has a drier unit to convert 5000 Nuts per day to copra installed at bank premises. Transport Carrier The Bank to faciliate goods transport has three carriers at its service. Cluster Development In the recent years production of coconuts in Kerala has dropped due to non availability of proper support to farmers. The Coconut Development Board has now imparted various schemes to increase productivity. The Kallamkunnu Service Cooperative bank readily agreed to hold hands with CDB to develop Cluster of farmers in and around their judistriction and now leading in front in developing the clusters. The Bank is at present the lead bank of following clusters 1. Mukundapuram Cluster 2. Kallamkunnu Cluster 3. Andanikulam Cluster 4. Vykkara Cluster 5. Snehatheeram Cluster 6. Mahatma Cluster 7.
